Kush Sinha dismisses rumours of not attending sister Sonakshi’s wedding
Sonakshi Sinha’s brother Kush Sinha has denied reports of him not being able to attend his sister’s wedding with Zaheer Iqbal on June 23. He also said that it is a sensitive time for his family.
Reports that Sonakshi Sinha’s brothers Luv Sinha and Kush Sinha will not be attending their sister’s wedding on June 23 have been dismissed by Kush. He confirmed that he will be attending Sonakshi’s wedding to actor Zaheer Iqbal, which was held at her Bandra apartment. Kush stressed that it is a “sensitive” time for his family.
“I have seen people publishing false information earlier as well. It started with an article in a leading portal which had a quote from an anonymous source. I am not sure who is doing all this right now and where it is all coming from. But some houses have my photos (from the night),” Kush said. News18 Showsha.
He said that just because he wasn’t seen doesn’t mean he didn’t attend Sonakshi’s wedding. “I am a private person and I am not seen much, but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t there,” Kush said.
Meanwhile, Kush also reiterated that “this is a sensitive time for the family,” but expressed his best wishes for his sister. He added, “I was present, and I have only the best wishes for my sister and I will always wish her the best.”
Earlier, Sonakshi’s other brother Luv Sinha was also asked about his inability to attend his sister’s wedding on June 23. He had replied, “Please give me a day or two. If I feel I can answer your question, I will. Thanks for asking.”
Sonakshi Sinha married her boyfriend of seven years, Zaheer Iqbal, in the presence of her parents Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha along with a few family members and close friends. The registered marriage was followed by a grand ceremony at a posh restaurant in Mumbai. The ceremony was attended by several celebrities from the Hindi film industry, including Anil Kapoor, Tabu, Salman Khan and Kajol.
The ‘Dabangg’ actor also shared pictures from his wedding on social media, along with an emotional note, “On this day, seven years ago (23.06.2017) we saw love in its purest form in each other’s eyes and decided to hold on. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs – leading to this moment – where with the blessings of both our families and both our Gods – we are now husband and wife. Here’s to love, hope and all the beautiful things with each other, from now till forever.”
Sonakshi and Zaheer were last seen together in the 2022 film Double XL.
