Kumamatikali released back on 2 October 2024 and received an average review from the audience. The film was based on the coastal community and thus included the internal discovery of traditional cultures. And now it can soon be streamful online on OTT.
When and where to see Kumamatikali
The OTT platform is set to release on Simmasouth since 9 May. However, the film will not be seen by the audience in India.
Sharing the poster, the streaming giant wrote “#Kummaattikali, except India, streaming around the world from 9 May.”

A person named Kumamatically Denis revolves around a group of friends and his friends, known as Kumti boys. The life of his ordinary city is thrown into an unexpected tornado when they get entangled in a web of crime within their coastal village.
This unexpected turn of events comes up during a lively cultural festival in the village, which makes them even more difficult to highlight the truth and to avoid the clutches of crime.
As the story moves forward, the audience is treated through Indira’s character in moments of deep sense of emotions, humor and care, which emerges as a maternal shape for boys during the time of crisis.
Cast and Crew of Kumatikali
Madhav Suresh included his debut performance in the film. Others include Sinoj Varghese, Sarish, Major Ravi, Anu Prabhakar, Lenik, Rashik Ajmal, Mime Gopi and others.
Kumamatikali is directed by Vincent Selva and is written by Ramesh Ammanath.
