Dhanush has become a matter of the city in no time as a beggar for Sekhar Kammula’s upcoming film Kuberaha. The actor is noted for his raw and entertaining screen appearance, as is clear in the film’s trailer. He will share the frame with Nagarjuna Akini and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles.
And now the Tamil actor has opened up how he was made really to shoot for the film, so that he should have begged the streets of Tirupati.
Dhanush discusses shooting as a deity in Kubera
Dhanush completed his versatility, as he will play the role of a beggar in Sekhar Kammula’s upcoming film, Kuberaha.
At the pre-of-relief event for the film, the actor agreed to the script of the film soon after hearing it during a 20-minute season. However, he was surprised when the filmmaker actually sat on the streets of Tirupati for his role.
Dhanush said, “Director Sekhar Kamula told me the story in just 20 minutes. I immediately agreed, relying on his name and reputation. But in the end, he begged me on the streets of Tirupati.”
Kubera gets 19 scenes removed by CBFC before release
Just before the release of Kubera, the film was once again censored by CBFC, and a total of 19 scenes were removed from its run time. These included visuals of bows, rushmika and Nagarjuna in various settings and scenarios.
Now with about 14 minutes of footage cut, now the version, now stands at a total of 181 minutes, which is converted to about 3 hours and 1 minute. It is also provided U/A Certification by the Censor Board.
Kubera Cast Fee
Recently, Kubera’s discussion around the cast fee has also shaken the headlines. According to a daily awakening report, Dhanush is asked to take about 36 percent of the total budget of the film as a Pachek, which is almost Rs. 30 crores.
Apart from this, according to a filmbet report, Rashmika Mandanna, as a prominent woman, allegedly Rs. 4 crores, while Nagarjuna Akinani gets a salary of Rs. 14 crores.
