The trailer of the hit Netflix web series Kota Factory season three was released by the streamer on Tuesday, June 11. This time, the pressure mounts on Jeetu Bhaiya (Jitendra Kumar) and his students as they prepare for the IIT entrance exam. Jeetu Bhaiya is also under pressure to maintain a balance between the business interests of the coaching institute and the future of his students.

The trailer begins with Jeetu Bhaiya participating in a podcast, in which he emphasises the importance of celebrating the process of preparation along with celebrating success. Soon after, the trailer addresses the poignant question: “Why Jeetu Bhaiya, why not Jeetu Sir?”

Kumar, who has played the fan favourite teacher since the release of Kota Factory’s first season in 2019, explains that handling the myriad emotions experienced by 15-16-year-old students as they transition to adulthood is something only a brother can understand. “Their responsibility is huge; Jeetu sir won’t be able to handle it,” says Jeetu bhaiya.

Meanwhile, the trailer gives a glimpse of the rigorous preparations that the students go through to get admission in the top colleges of the country. Actress Tillotama Shome has joined the show as a new chemistry teacher. At one point in the trailer, she tells Jeetu Bhaiya how Kota, which once nurtured students, has now turned into a factory.

The logline of Kota Factory 3 is, “Jeetu Bhaiya and the students are back for their biggest test.” It also stars Mayur More, Ranjan Raj, Alam Khan, Revathi Pillai, Ahsaas Channa and Rajesh Kumar, who have all been a part of the previous season as well.

Directed by Prateesh Mehta and produced by TVF Productions, Kota Factory 3 will stream on Netflix from June 20.
