Major Korean stars and filmmakers united together to express their disagreement against President Yoon Suk Yeol’s martial law. They signed a petition demanding his resignation.

The political turmoil also affected the entertainment landscape. Networks such as MBC, SBS and Channel A postponed major programs including When the Phone Rings and The Fiery Priest 2 to accommodate breaking news coverage.
