Filmmaker Karan Johar celebrated 23 years of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham by sharing pictures from the iconic film. KJo expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the fans, cast and crew of K3G and reminisced about working on set with the “legends”. Released in 2001, the film was Karan’s second directorial venture after Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

Karan’s note read, “23 years!!! Phew. Truly one of those moments that sticks with me – now and then. Being on the set with these legends!! My second film as a director!” And I think I was extremely lucky that this generous cast and the entire team trusted me so much to deliver joy and sorrow in abundance.”

He further added, “The biggest appeal goes to the audience, the fans, our family – who continue to watch our film and repeat every dialogue, dance to every song and keep this film truly alive. Thank you.” (sic).”
