Kapil Sharma-starrer comedy Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 is nearing completion of its first week after release, entering its sixth day. The sequel opened to a low on Wednesday, earning an estimated Rs 75 lakh at the box office. Including the sixth day’s collection, it is estimated that the film has barely touched the figure of Rs 11 crore.
The film took a slow start on Friday and then didn’t really take off over the weekend with a poor take on Saturday. A bounce was seen on Sunday, but it did not take it anywhere and on Monday the trading again came down to the low level and has remained that way. At this level of collections the film is not expected to have much of a run after the first week and will be out of most theaters tomorrow with the release of Avatar: Fire and Ash.
From the trailer, it seemed that the film had some qualities, but its dramatic appeal was limited and then it became more difficult as Dhurandhar picked up the pace. The film was essentially lost and would simply become a case of something that came along and went unnoticed.
