Aamir Khan’s mother Zeenat Hussain celebrated her 90th birthday on Thursday, June 13, and she received special wishes from Kiran Rao and Ira Khan.

Aamir is hosting a grand party for his mother at his Mumbai residence on June 13, which will be attended by over 200 family members and friends. Zeenat, who was ill for over a year, has now recovered.

Talking about films, Aamir’s next film is ‘Lahore 1947’, starring Sunny Deol in the lead role and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. The film also stars Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Karan Deol and Ali Fazal. This film is the first collaboration between Aamir and Sunny, who have previously worked together in several box-office hits.

‘Lahore 1947’ marks the reunion of Aamir and Santoshi after their classic film ‘Andaz Apna Apna’. Meanwhile, Kiran Rao directorial ‘Laapata Ladies’ has been garnering praises and is popular since its release in theatres and on OTT platforms.
