Kill: Ananya Panday reviews Karan Johar-backed film, calls it ‘very good’; Vicky Kaushal praises the team

Director Nikhil Nagesh Bhat is all set for the release of his action thriller film Kill. The film has already premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2023 but is now moving towards a big screen release on July 5, 2024.

On July 3, the makers held a special screening of the film which was attended by some of the B-Town biggies. Ananya Panday, Vicky and Sunny Kaushal, Shanaya Kapoor and others also wrote their rave reviews about Karan Johar’s production venture on social media. Read on!

Bollywood stars review Karan Johar’s film ‘Kill’

Soon after watching Kill at a special screening, Ananya Panday shared her thoughts about the film on her Instagram Stories. Reposting the poster of the film backed by Karan Johar, she called it ‘awesome’. The Dream Girl 2 actress added, “You can’t miss this one. In cinemas this Friday.”

Joining him was Bad Newz star Vicky Kaushal who praised the team for making this masterpiece. In his review, the actor wrote, “What a film! I salute everyone involved in making this film. People don’t know what is coming their way.”

Similarly, Ananya’s best friend Shanaya Kapoor also praised the team of Kill. The upcoming actress is extremely happy with it. She wrote, “No words. Can’t wait to watch it again. Mind blowing.” She also tagged the film’s lead actor Lakshya and said, “You did amazing.”

Actor Sunny Kaushal, known for his work in films like Shiddat, Huddang and Mili, also attended the star-studded premiere of the film. He reposted the poster of Kill and called it a great ride. Sunny said, “What a great ride this film is. Enjoyed the film thoroughly from the first frame to the last frame. Congratulations to the entire team.”

Actress and content creator Kusha Kapila wrote a positive review for the film. She re-posted creator Srishti Dixit’s long note about the film and said that she was moved by watching the film. Kusha said, “As Srish says, the literal antithesis of Dharma cinema. It is such a thrilling, exciting film that is so committed to telling its story that it doesn’t shy away from any kind of bloodshed.”
