Raghav Juyal calls himself the “biggest outsider” in the film industry
In a recent interview with India Today, Raghav Juyal spoke about how he feels about being an “outsider” and if the tag has ever bothered him in his journey so far.
Calling himself the “biggest example of an outsider”, Raghav said he has worked hard to make a place in the industry.
The actor said, “I am from Dehradun and I have no connection with the industry. I am not signed by any agency and I work completely alone. I cannot be in a position to complain or else I will be stuck there.”
Raghav said that he focuses on continuing to work, whether he succeeds or fails. Citing the example of sportspersons, the Kill actor said that they fight back even after suffering setbacks. Raghav said that he wants to live his life the same way.
Raghav thanks Karan Johar for supporting two “new artistes”
In the same interview, Raghav Juyal requested the audience to watch his film Kill in theatres, especially those who criticise filmmakers for only casting star kids. Talking about the positive response that Kill has received, Raghav said that the film is running successfully in theatres based on “word-of-mouth” alone. He called the moment a “huge achievement” for himself and his co-star Lakshya.
Kill is co-produced by Karan Johar, Guneet Monga, Apoorva Mehta and Achint Jain.
