Actor Lakshya Lalwani recently opened up about the rigorous training he underwent to play a commando in Karan Johar’s upcoming film Kill. The actor said that he trained for nine months for the role.
Talking about this in a statement, Lakshya said, “I started this whole journey as a wrestler when I was 17-18 years old. I did some wrestling during my school days and even during this film, we trained continuously for eight or nine months. So, of course, there is a lot of training involved.”
Earlier, Kill premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and received rave reviews.
Earlier, Karan Johar, while talking about the action film, had said, “This is the most violent film made in India. We have never made a film this violent before and for a filmmaker like me, who has only gotten slapped in my entire career – a hard slap from one actor to another – it is a complete change of genre for me to present and produce a film like this.”
‘Kill’ starring Raghav Juyal and Ashish Vidyarthi will release in theatres on July 5.
