Kichcha Sudeep announced an exciting update on his long-selected film Billa Ranga Basa after pushing the action-adventure for a month’s delay. The new update has now discussed among fans who cannot wait for the end results when the film will hit the big screen.
Well, taking into his account on X, Sudeep shared a new poster of his film and revealed that the project has gone on the floor on 16 April today. With the title BRB-the First Blood, the actor revealed that it would be set against the period of 2209 AD.

The actor wrote “2209 AD – #Brbfiresblood. The journey begins today. For us, our team’s huge dream and vision, going to the floor is a unique enthusiasm.”
For The Anward, this new update on the film comes after the earlier update by Kichcha Sudeep, where he mentioned that the shooting for BRB will begin in the second week of March 2025.
Billa Ranga Basha has marked the second cooperation with Kannada actor filmmaker Anoop Bhandari. Their first project was Venkat Rona together, which became a superhit at the box office.
According to a report by The New Indian Express, the story of the film has been set as a future, but is ahead for almost two centuries. It will be a two-part story and the film has been in its pre-production phase for a long time.
The use of comprehensive VFX with custom designed 3D sets is said to be an important part of the Kannada Action Adventure Movie. Non-stop will be held for 20-25 days in each of these, during which new custom 3D sets will be re-built.
Among other news, Kichcha Sudeep’s last film Max was a fierce hit at the box office. Despite colliding with several other releases in the same week, the film earned very well.
