Kiccha Sudeep shares concept video of ‘Billa Ranga Basha’ with Hanuman makers
Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep has finally started working on ‘Billa Ranga Basha’, which he announced six years ago. He has teamed up with director Anup Bhandari and the makers of ‘Hanuman’ for this.

Actor Kiccha Sudeep on Monday released the concept video of his new film ‘Billa Ranga Basha’ for his fans. The film was initially announced in 2018 and it seems to be going on floors this year. At least, that’s what the title logo and video suggest. ‘Billa Ranga Basha’ is directed by Anup Bhandari and produced by Hanuman producer Primeshow.
Celebrating the Kannada superstar’s 51st birthday, the makers of ‘BBB’ released the video on social media. It is a futuristic drama set in 2209 AD and is gearing up for a grand release next year. Bhandari, who first shared the video online, wrote on X, “#BRBMovie joins hands with @KicchaSudeep sir and the makers of Hanuman @primeshowtweets to bring you ‘A Tale From The Future’. Unveiling the official title logo and concept video on Badshah’s birthday. #BillaRangaBaasha – First Blood (sic).”

‘Billa Ranga Baasha’ seems to be a dystopian drama, with all the major wonders of the world looking gloomy and in disarray. While the concept video leaves a lot for fans to understand until the makers reveal more, visuals of the Taj Mahal and the Eiffel Tower can be seen in the background. However, none of them look like they exist in the current world.
Earlier, after making the first announcement, both Kicha and Anup worked on ‘Vikrant Rona’ and put ‘BBB’ on hold. Now, the director thanked the superstar in a press release, and revealed how the film is finally back on track. He said, “Working with Sudeep sir is always a great experience. People loved Vikrant Rona, and I am sure they will love this one even more. Sudeep sir calling it his biggest film is a huge compliment and a huge responsibility as well. Something I am looking forward to fulfilling.”
The film is being made as a pan-India entertainer in all major languages. The rest of the cast and crew have not been revealed yet.
