Khushboo flags husband Sundar C’s fake ex account days after his political entry
Days after Sundar C’s political announcement, actor-politician Khushboo Sundar alerted fans about her director-husband’s fake social media account. He urged people not to interact with the account.
Actress-politician Khushboo Sundar has alerted social media users about a fake ex account imitating her husband, director and actor Sundar C. The warning came after BJP state president Nainar Nagendran tagged Sundar C’s unverified account in a post, prompting Khushboo to clarify the situation.
Khushboo shared the tagged photo on her X handle and told that Sundar C currently does not have any social media presence. He said that an official verified account with a blue tick will be created for them soon. He wrote, “This is a fake account of director Sundar C. He is not on any social media platform till date. Please do not follow or interact with this or any such account.”

Khushboo’s warning about fake accounts comes days after Sundar C’s formal entry into politics, underscoring the need for clarity about his official social media presence.
Meanwhile, Sundar C is entering politics after three decades in the film industry. He has been declared as a candidate for Madurai Central constituency in the upcoming 2026 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election. He will represent Puthiya Neeti Katchi (PNK), which is part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in alliance with the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK).
As part of this alliance, Sundar C will contest the elections under the two-leaf symbol of the AIADMK. PNK chiefs AC Shanmugam and Sundar C recently met Nainar Nagendran to discuss election strategies. Nagendran wished the candidate and the party all the best for the upcoming elections.
