The co-conclusion of Ananya Pandey and R Madhavan, Kesari Chapter 2 opened with a net of Rs 7.50 crore on their debut, followed by Rs 9.50 crore on day 2 and Rs 12 crore on day 3. The film wrapped its early weekend of Rs 29 crore in India. The sequel Kesari was reduced by the big weekend of chapter 1.
In the first installment of the Kesari franchise, there was a concrete opening of Rs 21 crore on day 1 in 2018. After this, there were Rs 17 crore and Rs 18.50 crore on day 2 and day 3 respectively, which reached a total of Rs 56.50 crore in India.
The film collected a network of about Rs 152 crore in India during its lifetime, which took a hit at the box office. Looking at the current trends of Kesari Chapter 2, it will probably end greatly behind the last cum of its predecessor.
Although Karan Singh Tyagi-directed courtroom drama met positive words-mouth, but it is not showing a very important bridge on the ticket windows. Kesari chapter 2 is expected to wrap his dramatic run under a net of Rs 100 crore.
