The historic action drama Kesari Veer is closed for a dull start at the Indian box office. After collecting 25 lakh rupees on its initial day, the film managed a marginal growth at day 2, which earned Rs 30 lakh. The two -day total is now 55 lakh rupees, which is weak at the time, cost and attempt that goes to make a film a period film.

Directed by Rajkumar Dhiman and written by Kanubhai Chauhan, Kesari Veer brought the story of Hamirji Gohli on screen, a low -known Rajput warrior, who took a brave stand against the Tughlaq Empire to protect the revered Somnath temple. Soraj Pancholi played the title role, while Vivek Oberoi portrayed the opponent. The artists also include Sunil Shetty and Akansha Sharma in the Pivatal roles.
Despite its patriotism and historical background, the film has failed to make a strong impact on the audience. The word of the mouth is still average, many viewers have indicated the film’s dated screenplay and the lack of emotional resonance. This tapid response has proved to be a stumble for the film’s box office trip.
It is a tough competition to add its crises to the ticket counters. Rajkummar Rao, Vamika Gabbi starrer forgot and forgiven the new Hindi release, is leading the race with better occupation and viewers’ traction. Meanwhile, Kapkapai, a comedy, which features Tsashar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade, who is struggling to find the takers. Amidst this mixed bag of the new release, Kesari Veer did not get enough speed to stand out.
The film also has another attempt to revive Pancholi’s career, but things do not look very good. If Sunday does not show an enough jump, which, with all due respect, we do not think it will be, the actor will have to wait for a long time for success in the showbiz.
Tomorrow, with an important day, the manufacturers will expect a decent push, but are going from the current trends, as mentioned above, Kesari Veer leads to a short -term dramatic run.
