Kesari 2 Box Office Day 14: Akshay Kumar led the period-Drama put a fort against a strong raid 2; 1.50 crore net

The box office trip to Kesari Chapter 2 continued to remain stable despite facing strict competition from RAID 2, which was released today with a inauguration of Rs 17 crore. Akshay Kumar’s historic court room drama added Rs 1.50 crore in 14 days, at a time when a major mass film is getting attracted towards a significant foot.

Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, Kesari 2 opened on Good Friday leave and has since created a respectable total. A collection of Rs 45.35 crore was observed in the first week. In its second week, the film has been brought for Rs 28 crore till date, which is spending Rs 73.35 crore to its cumulative pure India in total.

The film, officially Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jalianwala Bagh, is inspired by The Case The Case, which shook the empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Pet. This is C. for justice after 1919 Jalianwala Bagh massacre. Shankaran revolves around the legal battle of Nair. Apart from Akshay Kumar in the lead role, the film also stars R Madhavan and Ananya Pandey.

Released on April 18, a few days after the 105th anniversary of the above tragedy, the film resonated with the audience interested in history and court room drama and continues to draw numbers even today, despite enjoying a broad release and loud buzz.

Before his release, Karan Johar, who co-produced the Kesari Chapter 2, called the film one of the best attempts so far. The Kesari sequel is jointly supported by his Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films and Leo Media.

A third part has already been confirmed. Akshay Kumar revealed that the next outing in the patriotic franchise will be based on the life of the first commander-in-chief of the Sikh Khalsa Army Hari Singh Nalwa.

The streaming rights of Kesari chapter 2 are acquired by Jiohotstar.
