Speaking exclusively to India Today, the director expressed his gratitude for the certification, saying that the approved cuts have paved the way for a wider audience to watch the film.

Emphasizing that the rating would allow young girls and families to see it in theaters, he encouraged parents and youth to come together and watch the film. He said, “We have got the cuts and got the certificate. It is a U/A certificate and I am thankful to the board for giving this rating so that young sisters and daughters can go to the cinema halls and watch the film. The youth and parents should go and watch the film.”

In view of the ongoing controversy surrounding the film, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan criticized the film, calling it “poisonous propaganda”. He claimed that the film could undermine Kerala’s tradition of religious harmony, which he described as fundamental to the state’s identity.
