Kendrick Lamar has surprised his followers with another banger this year. The All the Stars artist recently launched a new album, GNX.
For those who don’t know, this big and exciting news comes after Lamar recently surprised his fans by revealing that he will be performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, which is set to take place next year. Is.
Well, with some amazing groovy tracks, we now know what the We Cry Together artist’s set will sound like on the primetime TV show.
The main event will take place in February 2025.
Speaking of Kendrick Lamar’s latest release, the GNX set features 12 great tracks. The entire album lasts approximately 44 minutes and 20 seconds.
While the album starts with Wacked Out Murals, the track that welcomes us sympathetically, we almost hear the artist singing the song with some typical atmospheric beats in the middle of it.
Some interesting tracks on the album are Squabble Up, which comes right after Waked Out Murals, followed by Reincarnated, a song that gives you some old school hip-hop vibes, and Gloria.
Meanwhile, the album’s fourth track, Man at the Garden, is a must-listen, with some folk and tribal touches.
This recently released album is Lamar’s first full-length album since 2022, when he came up with another interesting entry, Mr. Morales & the Big Steppers.
In September, the Backseat Freestyle artist announced on Instagram with an interesting video clip that he would be a part of the next Super Bowl.
“Super Bowl LIX. new Orleans. February 2025,” the caption on Kendrick Lamar’s social media post read.
In the video, he is seen standing in front of a huge American flag and tossing some American footballs in the air.
He soon detailed his performance, saying, “Meet me in New Orleans on February 9, 2025.” Also ask viewers to “wear your best attire, even if you’re watching from home.”
The event is scheduled to be held at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans and will air on Fox.
