Actress Parineeti Chopra and her husband, politician Raghav Chadha recently hosted a special guest, Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur, at their Mumbai home. The couple celebrated the cricketer’s achievements in a warm get-together, with Parineeti sharing highlights from the evening and expressing her admiration for the champion.

On Saturday, December 20, 2025, Parineeti shared pictures of herself, Raghav Chaddha and Harmanpreet Kaur on Instagram, capturing candid moments from their time together. Along with a picture, the actor wrote, “Glad to have you at our place, Champion @imharmanpreet_kaur. Your achievements, simplicity and humility inspire millions. Keep flying the tricolor high!”

He also posted some more pictures, in one of which the three of them looked relaxed and happy sitting in the living room.

Harmanpreet Kaur is riding high on success after leading India to a historic victory in the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup and taking the winning catch against South Africa in the final. His leadership and calm presence on the field have earned him praise from fans and fellow achievers alike.

During the episode, the cricketer shared a touching personal anecdote, saying, “The day I was born, my father was in his office, and the family sent him a message that my mother had been taken to the hospital.”

She recalled how her father had bought a T-shirt for her while she was visiting the hospital and said, “When I first wore those clothes, no one noticed. But when I played for India, a few years later, when we were changing houses, my mother found them and said, ‘Let me show you the clothes you wore on the first day.’ I saw a shirt with ‘Good Batting’ written on it.”
