Hollywood icon Keanu Reeves made his professional auto racing debut on Saturday, October 5 at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway, competing in the Toyota GR Cup. The Matrix star, who is 60, impressively avoided the collision but went off the track for more than half of the 45-minute race. Despite the setback, Reeves remained safe and soon rejoined the race.
The incident occurred at the exit of Turn 9, where Reeves spun into the grass but managed to avoid any collision. He calmly re-entered the track and continued driving, indicating he was not injured. Earlier in the race, Reeves had successfully avoided a first lap crash at Turn 14.
