Nora Fatehi’s statement on controversy

Nora, who is seen in the video, shared her side of the story on Instagram earlier in the day. She distanced herself from the controversy, saying, “On one hand, I see that some of you are trying to use this as an opportunity to attack my character…This is unfortunate. Anyway, I and my team will be more careful in such situations in the future. However, I would like to reiterate that I had no knowledge about this Hindi song. I did not perform on it and no permission was taken to use it with my image.”

He said that he had shot the songs in Kannada three years ago by relying on the translations of the producers. “I shot this song three years ago in Kannada language. I said yes because it was part of a big film. It was with a big icon Sanjay Dutt – who would refuse to work with him?”

She further added, “When they were translating the songs to me, nothing seemed inappropriate or obscene. I don’t understand Kannada, so I was relying on what they told me.”

All versions of the song – Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu – have now been removed.
