The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16 started with the rollover of contestant Ranveer Raghuvanshi, who had earlier won Rs 80,000. Host Amitabh Bachchan started the show by telling that Ranveer is waiting for his “real life Deepika”. Question submitted for Rs 1,60,000: “The arch in the image was located on a highway that was proposed to connect which two cities?”

Unsure of the answer, Ranveer used the ‘Video Call a Friend’ lifeline, but did not get any useful response. He then chose the ‘double dip’ lifeline, first choosing option A) Khartoum, Juba, which was wrong, and then option D) Jerusalem, Mecca, which also proved wrong. As a result, his winnings were reduced to Rs 10,000 and he left the show with that amount.

After Ranveer’s exit, Amitabh Bachchan hosted the Fastest Finger First Round, in which Dr. Neeraj Saxena from Kolkata, West Bengal took the hot seat. Dr. Saxena, PRO Chancellor and former scientist, JSI University, Kolkata, shares his inspiring journey including working with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, former President of India. “He was my first boss,” Dr. Saxena remarked, when his photographs with Dr. Kalam were displayed on the screen.
