Paralympic medalists Avani Lekhara, Navdeep Singh and Sumit Antil appeared as guests in the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16. The athletes shared their inspirational stories and collectively won Rs 25 lakh on the show. During the episode, host and superstar Amitabh Bachchan invited him to his residence.

At the beginning of the episode, it was only Navdeep and Sumit, but at one point, Big B invited Avni, whom the other two contestants fondly call their ‘Dugnastra’, to the hot seat. After using his first lifeline – audience poll – Big B challenged him to answer all 10 questions of Super Sanduk.

After this he invited him for lunch or dinner at his home in Mumbai. To his surprise, he became the first contestant of the season to answer all 10 questions correctly and win Rs 1 lakh. After this Big B said, “I invite you all to my place.”

When Big B asked him the 13th question for Rs 25 lakh: Which of the following is celebrated every year on 24th July in India? The athletes brainstormed possible answers.

During the discussion, Navdeep confidently rejected option A. Sumit said, “Sir, Navdeep is an income tax officer,” to which Navdeep replied, “I don’t think it’s option A.” He then used the Video Call A Friend Lifeline and contacted his mentor, but he could not respond. Taking the risk, Sumit decides to use his last lifeline, Double Dip.

After answering the question correctly, the contestants walked out of the show with Rs 25 lakh.
