In the latest episode of Amitabh Bachchan-hosted ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, contestant Paras Mani Singh was asked a challenging question worth Rs 25 lakh related to Mahatma Gandhi.

Paras Mani Singh from Muzaffarpur came on the show with a dream of educating his three daughters. He got a question worth Rs 25 lakh about a book titled Mahatma GandhiUnable to get a response despite his best efforts, he decided to quit the job and walked away with Rs 12,50,000.

Amitabh Bachchan asked, “Which of these authors wrote the book ‘Mahatma Gandhi’ in 1924 without meeting Gandhiji?”

The options are:

A. Ivan Bunin

B. George Orwell

C. Thomas Mann

D. Romain Rolland

The correct answer for the Rs 25 lakh question was Romain Rolland.

Paras, a Toto driver from Muzaffarpur, is known as ‘KBC Babu’ in his community. His appearance on the show is both a personal achievement and a heartfelt mission to ensure a brighter future for his three daughters through education.

Despite struggling in studies, Paras returned home with the help of his brothers and started an electronic material business, focusing on lightbulbs. Although the venture failed, he remained determined. He learned mobile repair work, which soon turned into a successful business. However, his journey took another challenging turn when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
