In a recent episode of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 16’, host Amitabh Bachchan fulfilled a contestant’s wish. Known for his warmth and charisma on the show, the superstar fulfilled a female contestant’s wish by giving her a rose and reciting a poem from his film ‘Silsila’.
On the August 30 episode of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 16’, contestant Deepti Singh expressed her heartfelt wish to Amitabh Bachchan. Presenting him with flowers, she asked if he would like to give her a flower. She said, “I have brought these flowers for you, the king of my dreams.” She then requested, “Please give me a flower.” Overwhelmed by her gesture, Amitabh Bachchan presented her with a rose, making the moment truly special.

She also recited a heart touching poem from her 1981 film ‘Silsila’, which also starred Jaya Bachchan and Rekha. Getting emotional, Deepti said that she has reached the highest position in the world. Deepti said, “Sir, I cannot tell what is happening in my life today. It is unbelievable.”
Deepti Singh decided to quit the show, taking home the prize money of Rs 6,40,000. ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 16’ airs on Sony TV and streams on Sony Liv.
