Kartik Aaryan put up posters of ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ in Lokhandwala before the release
Bollywood star Kartik Aryan recently talked about his career and said that before the release of his film ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’, he had put up posters of the film in Lokhandwala area of Mumbai.

All those who watched Chandu Champion would remember the sweet moment when Murlikant Petkar saw his first news article in the newspaper, which left him overwhelmed. India Today recently spoke to actor Kartik Aaryan, who played the role of a Paralympic winner in this Kabir Khan directorial, and asked him about his first experience of being in the news.
The actor said that he doesn’t remember how it happened, but he has a distinct memory of pasting posters of his film Pyaar Ka Punchnama in the city. He also said that Aamir Khan did the same for his first film.
Kartik laughed as he shared the memories and said, “There were less posters around, so I decided to do the necessary work. I started putting up posters around Lokhandwala (Mumbai). Since a lot of aspiring actors live in the same place, I wanted to spread the word that my film is releasing soon. I still remember how I took those small paper posters and pasted them up. It’s actually illegal to do that.”
While discussing the film, we asked him about breaking out of his chocolate boy image and venturing into other genres. Calling it a journey, the actor said that he has proved what he had to and he has to prove it again and again as he has no support.
Kartik Aaryan said, “It took me a lot of hard work to reach here and get a film from Kabir (Khan) sir. Working under his direction is no less than an achievement for me. It has been a process and there is a business module involved before you get something good. But you have to be talented enough to adapt yourself according to the needs of the project. I think this is my journey and I am proud of it. With every film it has always been like a test. There is a nervous energy and I feel it is a test for me every time.”
