Actor Kartik Aaryan, who recently appeared in the finale episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, revealed that in the initial days of his career, he had to struggle a lot to get a third-hand car.

Actor Kartik Aaryan, who is garnering praise for his performance in Kabir Khan’s ‘Chandu Champion’, recently opened up about his struggle with a third-hand car he bought in the early days of his career. In the finale episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, Kartik recalled that the driver’s side door of his car wouldn’t open, forcing him to jump from the other side to get out. Also, water would drip from the roof of the car whenever it rained in Mumbai.
When Kapil asked Kartik about the third-hand status of his car, the actor said, “The person from whom I bought that car had already bought it second-hand. So, for me, it was a third-hand car.” Kartik said that he bought the car to attend red carpet-events and award shows.

Kartik Aaryan said, “There are red carpet events and award shows, so I used to travel by auto for them. Somehow, I managed to buy this third-hand car. But this car started troubling me more because the driver’s seat door would not open.”
He said, “So, when I would arrive at an event, I had to stop the valet from opening the driver’s door, otherwise it would break. Then I would jump on the other side in my coat and come out and instruct the valet to go from the passenger seat to the driver’s seat and park the car.”
Kartik’s troubles with his car did not end here. He also had to deal with water leaking from the roof during monsoon. “Whenever it rained, water would leak in the car. I had to avoid the raindrops while driving. It was a unique problem,” the ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ actor said.
However, now the actor has some of the most expensive and luxurious cars parked in his garage. He owns a McLaren GT worth Rs 3.72 crore, a Lamborghini Urus Capsule and a Range Rover SV worth Rs 4.17 crore. The actor, who made his acting debut with the 2011 film ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’, is tasting success with films like ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ and most recently, ‘Chandu Champion’.
