Karnataka State Awards: Rakshit Shetty, Doddhatti Bore, Dodhatti Bore Win
The Karnataka State Awards were recently announced, honoring the best talent for his contribution to cinema. Take a look at the entire list of the winners.
Directed by Raghu KM, ‘Dodhatti Borgowda’ won the Best Film Award at the Karnataka State Film Awards 2021. Announced on Friday for the best honor in Kannada cinema, the awards recognized ‘777 Charlie’ as the second best film and also as ‘Bisilu Kudure’.
In the performance categories, Rakshit Shetty won the best actor for ‘777 Charlie’, while ‘KHF’ fame Archana Joise was named Best Actress for ‘Mute’. The Best Supporting Actor Awards went to Pramod (Ratnan Prapancha) and Umashri (Ratnan Prapancha) respectively for the male and female categories.
In the writing categories, Manjunath Muniyappa won the best story for ‘9 Sulu Kathegalu’, Raghu KM took the best screenplay for ‘Doddhati Borgowda’, and Barguru Ramchandrappa received the best dialogue for ‘Thai Kastur Gandhi’.
