Karisma Kapoor is all set to judge ‘India’s Best Dancer 4’. The 90s star has made her debut in a reality show with a dance show. In a conversation with IndiaToday.in, Lolo, as she is fondly called, shared her excitement. The “Raja Hindustani” actor said, “We are actors and yes, we dance and are used to performing. But we are not used to people judging us. We have to smile but there are a lot of things going on in our mind. You have to focus on what was amazing in the performance, where did the contestants go wrong, what was brilliant, what was wrong, everything. It is a lot of work.”
As readers would know, Kareena Kapoor was a judge on ‘Dance India Dance Battle of the Champions’ in 2019. On the other hand, Karisma has been a guest on several reality shows but ‘India’s Best Dancer’ is her debut as a full-fledged judge.
Talking about why it took her so many years to judge the reality show, the ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’ actress said, “Honestly, I loved being on the show as a special judge. There was even a special episode for Karisma Kapoor. I came, met everyone and went home – it was simple and easy. But now, there is a lot of responsibility. The team finally managed to convince me because I had spent a good time with them in the earlier seasons. I love the spirit and energy of the show. And that is what is important for me, to have a similar vibe.”
Lastly, Karisma Kapoor also said that whenever she likes a performance, she expresses her happiness by giving a ‘Lolo Loves’ gesture (making a heart with her fingers) to that contestant.
