Karisma Kapoor danced to Zeenat Aman’s song ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ in ‘India’s Best Dancer 4’

Actress Karisma Kapoor, known for her excellent acting and dancing skills, recreated veteran actress Zeenat Aman’s ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ on the sets of ‘India’s Best Dancer 4’. Karisma is one of the judges on the show along with Geeta Kapoor and Terence Lewis.
The weekend episodes of ‘India’s Best Dancer 4’ will take the audience down memory lane to the ‘eras of Bollywood’. The contestants will pay tribute to Hindi cinema with performances inspired by Bollywood’s evolving styles over the decades. Karisma Kapoor will sing the evergreen track ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ from the film ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’ (1971) which will take the audience back to the 70s.
Speaking ahead of the performance, the actor said: “Zeenat Aman has been an icon and this is a small dedication to her.”

Earlier, IndiaToday.In exclusively shared the news Karisma is joining the dance reality show as a judge. When asked if her sister Kareena Kapoor Khan has given her any advice, the “Raja Hindustani” actress laughed and said that both of them feel that it is a very responsible job. “She hasn’t, but we both feel that it is a really tough job. Long hours, a lot of work because you don’t just sit. You have to pay attention to every step, calculate it,” she said.
He also added, “We are actors and yes, we dance and are used to performing. But we are not used to judging people. We have to smile, but there are a lot of things going on in our mind. You have to focus on what was amazing in the performance, where the contestants went wrong, what was brilliant, what was wrong, everything. It is a lot of work.”
‘India’s Best Dancer 4’ airs every Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm on Sony TV.
