Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan were lucky to have the famous celebrity pediatric nurse Lalitha D’Silva who took great care of their kids Taimur and Jeh. While she lived with the kids 27×7, the celebrity couple never treated her differently.
In an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla’s Hindi Rush, the caretaker revealed that Bebo and Saif eat the same food as the other staff members.
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan are simple people
Renowned pediatric nurse Lalitha D’Silva has spent eight years of her life taking care of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s kids. When asked what the celebrity couple is like in real life, she told Pinkvilla’s Hindi Rush that they are both simple and ordinary people.
The senior caretaker further said that their morning routine includes having meals with the staff members. Lalitha further said that there is no such thing as separate meals for the staff. Everyone will eat the same kind of food and of the same quality. She said, “Many times we all have eaten together.”

Saif Ali Khan is a great cook
Further, in the same interview, Lalita D’Silva revealed that actor Saif Ali Khan is a great cook and would often cook for him whenever he visited Pataudi. She said, “Saif sir loves to cook. He cooks really well. I don’t eat non-vegetarian food, but he cooks really good red meat. He cooks spaghetti, pasta, Italian food really well.”
Rumours spread that the couple paid Nani around Rs 2.5 lakh as remuneration. When asked to reveal the truth, he laughingly replied, “Rs 2.5 lakh? I wish. What you say is true. These are all just rumours.”
Lalita also revealed that when these rumours were doing the rounds, she asked Bebo if she would really get so much money, to which Kareena replied, “Yeh sab jest hai bhabhi. Don’t take it seriously.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s action film Singham Again. Meanwhile, Saif is awaiting the release of his Telugu language action-drama film Devraa: Part 1.
