Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgan, Tiger Shroff meet football icon Lionel Messi in Mumbai
Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ajay Devgan and Tiger Shroff were among the Indian film celebrities who met football legend Lionel Messi in Mumbai. While Kareena and her sons, Taimur and Jeh posed for pictures with Messi in Argentina jersey at the CCI, Ajay and Tiger met him later at the Wankhede Stadium.
Actors Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ajay Devgan, Tiger Shroff and Geeta Basra met Argentinian footballer Lionel Messi in Mumbai on Sunday.
On the same day, many Bollywood celebrities got a chance to meet footballer Lionel Messi in Mumbai. During the day-long event held at the Cricket Club of India (CCI), Kareena and her sons, Taimur and Jeh as well as Geeta and her family were introduced to the legend. Later that evening, the celebrity encounter continued as Ajay and Tiger met Messi at the city’s Wankhede Stadium.
The footage from the Cricket Club of India (CCI) event shows Kareena Kapoor along with her sons Jahangir Ali Khan and Taimur Ali Khan posing with football stars Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Rodrigo De Paul.
Kareena opted for a stylish outfit, wearing a khaki-brown coat with elephant embroidery, paired with a matching midi skirt. Their kids, Jeh and Taimur, looked lovely in their respective Argentina jerseys.

Kareena had earlier given a glimpse of her excitement on Instagram by posting a picture with her sons, Taimur and Jahangir, who were all set to meet the football legend.
After meeting Lionel Messi, Geeta shared an Instagram post from the meet and greet. She captioned, “Standing with the goat @leomessi…and my goat…@harbhajan3…thanks to @satadrutravel and #CCIMumbai for making this possible. Well done to @mumbaipolice for organizing such a great event…(sic).”

Meanwhile, Ajay and Tiger met Lionel Messi at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. In the meet-and-greet video, both the actors are seen greeting Messi on the field and having a brief conversation with him.
Not only Kareena, Shahrukh also met Messi. During the Kolkata leg of the GOAT Tour of India 2025 on Saturday, Shah Rukh and his son Abram Khan participated in a special meet and greet session with the football icon.
