Kareena Kapoor Khan is eagerly waiting for the film festival being organized in her name these days, which will celebrate her 25 years in the film industry. Recently, she attended the same event and shared a memorable picture with a picture of her grandfather Raj Kapoor. Kareena also admitted that she always carries his ‘love and teachings’ with her.
Today, on September 19, 2024, Kareena Kapoor Khan took to her Instagram Stories and shared a picture of herself taken inside a lift. The actress looked stunning in a custom Banarasi saree. She was seen looking at a picture of her grandfather Raj Kapoor and had a bright smile on her face.
In the caption, Kareena wrote, “I always carry his love and teachings with me (red heart emoji).”

The Kareena Kapoor Khan Film Festival will be held from September 20 to 27, where many of her iconic films will be re-released in theatres.
Kareena also starred in the recently released crime thriller, The Buckingham Murders, which was her first production. The film stars Ranveer Brar, Ash Tandon, Asad Raja, Prabhleen Sandhu, Sanjeev Mehra, Adwoa Akoto and Zain Hussain. The film is directed by Hansal Mehta and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta R Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor.
On the day of the film’s release, i.e. on September 13, Kareena wrote a special note on Instagram. She wrote, “As an actor, these are choices made by one… and I am very proud of that choice.”

Kareena Kapoor Khan will soon be gearing up for the release of her next film Singham Again. The next installment of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe also stars Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar. The action film is set to hit the theatres on the festive occasion of Diwali 2024.
