Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor recently shared an Instagram story to celebrate India’s official submission of Missing Ladies for the Oscars 2025. Sharing the poster of the film, Kareena captioned, “Great stories deserve great recognition.”

Congratulating the entire team, he wrote, “Great stories deserve great recognition (with clap emoji) congratulations @roadyness @aamirkhanproductions so happy for you guys (with rainbow and red heart emojis) @pratibha_ranta @nitanshigoelofficial @shrivastavasparsh @ravikishann.”

Director Kiran Rao later shared a note on Instagram, expressing her gratitude, writing, “I am extremely honoured and extremely happy that our film Missing Ladies has been selected as India’s official entry to the Academy Awards. The film featured Pratibha Ranta, Nitanshi Goyal, Ravi Kishan and Sparsh Srivastava in pivotal roles.
