Karan Veer Mehra on doing Bigg Boss 18 after winning KKK 14: It’s an advantage
TV actor Karan Veer Mehra, after winning Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, is all set to participate in Bigg Boss 18, considering it a career advantage. The actor told India Today Digital that the popularity of his previous show could give him an edge in Bigg Boss.

After winning Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 last week, TV actor Karan Veer Mehra is now all set to start his journey in Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 18. Looking at the social media trends upon his entry, the television actor seems to be the favourite. Now. Before entering the show, Mehra told India Today Digital that her participation in BB 18 would be beneficial for her after a successful stint on KKK14.
Talking about why he decided to do so, Karan Veer Mehra said, “After your 10th board exams, you want to give your 12th exams, right? It was a better and bigger career opportunity and hence, I accepted it.” Participate in Bigg Boss.
The actor also revealed that he was approached for the show before, but things never fell into place: “Either I was working, and when I wanted to do it, people were already decided. So, it’s always been a hit-and-miss opportunity. Finally, everything fell into place this year.”
Discussing whether the popularity he gained during KKK will help him in his Bigg Boss journey, the actor said, “It will definitely give me some benefits. It is on the same channel and hence, it has the same audience. Even though it is somewhere related, it is a daily show which is watched 24X7 and there is scope for building a bond with the audience. It’s more than just stunting, I’m going with the advantage.”

During an episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14Karan Veer Mehra told how he once crashed the gate at Galaxy Apartment, Salman Khan’s house. When asked if he would discuss it with the Bigg Boss host, he casually replied, “If he asks about it, I will apologize. It happened a long time ago. It’s just a fun thing.” There was something we did, and I hope he forgives us.”
The actor further revealed that his mother had asked him to behave well in Bigg Boss. Karan said that his mother told him how he is carrying the family name with him and he should make her proud. Asked if she had called up her good friend and BB 11 winner Shilpa Shinde to get some tips, Mehra said, “No, I didn’t really get a chance to talk to her before coming. I hope so.” That she will watch the show and support me.”
Karan Veer Mehra may not have watched Bigg Boss, but he has admitted to following the journey of Sidharth Shukla and Ankita Lokhande in their respective seasons. He also said that considering his experience in hostel, he is confident that he will do well in the show. “I’m a very outgoing person and make friends very easily.
