Karan Johar was present at the press conference before the release of his film ‘Kill’. While talking to the media, he finally broke his silence on the incident of slapping Kangana Ranaut.

When the media present at the conference asked the producer and director about his opinion on Kangana Ranaut being slapped by a CISF constable, he said, “I do not support or endorse any kind of violence, verbal or physical.”

First, Kangana Ranaut had targeted Bollywood’s silence on the incident. She soon deleted the story from Instagram. It read, “Dear film industry, you all are either celebrating or completely silent on the airport attack on me, remember if tomorrow you are walking on some street in your country or anywhere else in the world without a weapon and some Israeli/Palestinian kills you or your children just because you tried to ignore Rafah or stood up for Israeli hostages… then you will see that I am fighting for your right to freedom of speech, if someday you wonder why I am here, remember you are not me.”

Bollywood actress and BJP MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, Kangana Ranaut said that she was slapped by a CISF security officer at the Chandigarh airport while she was travelling to Delhi. According to Ranaut, she was slapped when she was heading towards the boarding point after the security check. It is believed that the provocation behind the slapping was Kangana’s controversial statement about women in Punjab during the farmers’ agitation.
