The 1995 classic Karan Arjun was recently re-released in theatres. Hrithik Roshan, who was the AD of the film, has shared some priceless old pictures with Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan from the sets. He even said that he looks like ‘young Kabir’, which is his character from the YRF Spy Universe. These glimpses behind the curtain make us wish for their reunion in the universe.

Today, November 23, 2024, Hrithik Roshan shared some BTS pictures from the sets of Karan Arjun on Instagram. The first picture was a monochrome shot in which he was standing between Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan, with Shahrukh placing his hand on Hrithik’s shoulder.

The second picture shows the Khan duo flying kites in Bhangra Pa Le song costumes. Hrithik was standing with her and the rest of the crew members.

In the caption, Hrithik said, “Yes, I look like a young Kabir with Karan and Arjun.” We hope to see Kabir with Tiger and Pathan in the spy universe soon.

Hrithik Roshan also recalled screening it before Karan Arjun’s original release. He shared, “As an assistant, I remember Minerva was the main theater on the day of release. I and dad’s other assistant Anurag (second photo in white sweatshirt) screened the print before release and we were all incredibly disappointed. The print looked dark and dull. We washed the entire screen and as the dirt and grime got dissolved in the large washcloth, we heard the manager say ‘(This screen has been washed after 15 years).’

Sharing another incident when he stopped Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan from going during the shoot, Hrithik said, “Another fun fact, one late night during the song Bhangra Paale, a fun team of Shahrukh and Salman stopped Sariska Decided to leave. Left for Delhi by car, promising to return by morning. I was stunned and jumped on the bonnet of the car (literally) to stop them. The call time was 6 am and I had to make sure that my dad’s day was not ruined. He didn’t do that.”

He concluded, “Watching Salman and Shahrukh act at the age of 17 was a huge learning for me. The best on set practical acting school ever. Karan Arjun is hitting the theaters again.
