The teaser of the upcoming Hindi remake of the Malayalam horror-comedy ‘Romancham’ has been released. Starring Tsshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade, the film is directed by late music Shivan and is scheduled for dramatic release on 23 May 2025.

Set against a background of supernatural mischief, ‘Kapkapai’ follows a group of friends who unknowingly incarnate paranormal activity after experimenting with an Oija board. The teaser shows a mixture of horror elements and slap humor with tagline, ‘Atma ji darshan do na‘Set tone for the bizarre and terrible vibe of the film.

Shreyas Talpade marked a renovation with Tushar Kapoor. Two actors, who are known for their earlier humor cooperation, return to the screen with a dynamic, aimed at combining laughter with jump intimidation.

Bravo Entertainment produced by Jayesh Patel and Umesh Kumar Bansal and presented by Zee Studios, KapakPEI has an assistant artist including Sonia Rathi, Siddi Idnani, Abishak Kumar, J Thakkar, Varun Pandey, Dharendra Tiwari, and Dinkar Sharma.

The teaser is set to premiere in theaters along with the release of Phule. The screenplay is written by Saurabh Anand and Kumar Priyadarshi, in which the film is working as a tribute to Shivan’s legacy, which was known for titles like ‘Kya Kool Hain Hum’ and ‘Apna Sapna Money Money Money’.
