The death of photographer Krishna Das has shocked the members of Kapil Sharma’s comedy show, who expressed their grief on social media. Actor-comedian Kiku Sharda shared an emotional note on social media, which ‘Das Dada’ mourning. The team shared a statement on Instagram that expressed its grief and respect for the late photographer.
Referring to DAS as ‘more than only one collaborative photographer’, the statement mentioned that he was a family for members of the show. The full statement said, “A very heavy heart we have lost Das Dada today, the soul behind the lens, who had captured countless beautiful moments with us since the start of the Kapil Sharma Show. More than only one colleague photographer, he always shared every moment with smiles, always kind and light.
The team’s post also had a video of Das dance with actors Ayushman Khurrana and Sonakshi Sinha from one of the old episodes of the show. The heavenly photographer was seen performing briefly during the skits at the show.

Actor-singer Sugandha Mishra, who was earlier part of Kapil’s show, expressed grief over Das’s death. He commented on the post with folded hands and a broken heart emoji. A social media user, who became familiar with Das, commented, “What was a gentleman Dada. Always saw him full of a smiling face and humor and he knew that I came to Mumbai and Ajanta used to struggle in a plus channel at Hotel (that time) .. May his soul could rest in peace (SIC).”
Kiku Sharda, known for playing several comic roles in Kapil’s show, shared the video on her Instagram story and wrote, “Will Miss You Das Dada.”
Das was reportedly recipient of Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
