Kantara: Chapter 1 has recorded a decent advance for the Hindi-dubbed version as it has gained strong speed in the last hours. The way advance booking started and where it was morning, it was expected to close about 60-65k tickets in national chains, but it managed to finish with 75,000 tickets in PVR Inox and Cinepolis for the initial day.
Since the film serves as a prequel for a blockbuster Kannada film, it should have recorded better advance booking. The trailer was well received, but it could not ignite the discussion that was expected before. However, the film has sufficient ability to make a good opening, thanks to the national holiday release.

According to the current trends and advance sales, Rishab Shetty starrer is expected to open in the net range of Rs 15 crore in Hindi, with a mark of Rs 20 crore, if it opens for the reception of the exquisite spectators. The film should target for a positive response that can translate into the footfall, allowing it to push it very important from above the 4-day weekend.
Bankarol by homebell films on a large scale, Bankarol: Kantara: Chapter 1 is facing a direct clash with Varun Dhawan and Tulsi Kumari of Sunny Sanskari starring Janhvi Kapoor. Although the Kannada film will probably ensure a better opening, the clash will undoubtedly affect its businesses to some extent. Ultimately, it will be a mouth word that determines the fate of both Gandhi Jayanti weekend.
Interestingly, there is no significant release on Diwali 2025 till Thamma and EK Deewane’s crazy, which will benefit both Kantara: Chapter 1 and Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari. Both films will get a clean run in the Hindi market for about three weeks.
