The way advance booking started and where it was morning, it was expected to close about 60-65k tickets in national chains, but it managed to finish with 75,000 tickets in PVR Inox and Cinepolis for the initial day.

Since the film serves as a prequel for a blockbuster Kannada film, it should have recorded better advance booking. The trailer was well received, but it could not ignite the discussion that was expected before. However, the film has sufficient ability to make a good opening, thanks to the national holiday release.
