Kantara Chapter 1 Box Office Day 1: Inauguration of Rs 60 crore, Trails KGF 2 in Hindi
Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ collected a network of Rs 60 crore in India on his early day. The film started at a slow pace and increased speed during the evening and night shows.

One of the most anticipated films in Indian cinemas, Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’, hit theaters on October 2 and inaugurated a large scale in view of its budget. Initial trends saw a bad turn-out for the morning show. However, with a positive word-mouth from the premiere show, booking increased the speed during the evening and night shows.
According to the tracking website, Sacnilk‘Day 1 collection is unprecedented, keeping in mind the minor budget of about Rs 125 crore for a film on this scale.
According to estimates, it is said about ‘Kanta: Chapter 1’ that it has raked about Rs 19-21 crore in the Hindi belt. The number can see an increase based on single screen. Rish Shetty-Starrer has made the second largest inauguration for the Kannada film in the Hindi market, leaving behind Yash’s ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, which has recorded a 54 crore network.
The Kannada edition of the film had a holistic occupation of 88.13 percent in theaters on Thursday. The dubbed versions of Telugu, Hindi and Tamil films recorded 75.34 percent, 29.84 percent and 71.42 percent respectively.
‘Kanta: Chapter 1’ is a 2022 film prequel for written, directed and acting by Rish Shetty. The period mythological drama also includes Rukmini Vasant, Jairam and Gulshan Devaiya.
