Kannappa starring Vishnu Manchu in the lead role is slate to release theaters on 27 June 2025. Next to the film Hitting Big Screen, the actor was seen at an early-relief event, where he revealed the film’s OTT release plans.
When will Kannappa be released on OTT?
Speaking to the media, Vishnu Manchu said that his film Kannappa will be released on OTT after completing 10 weeks in theaters.
“My film is, my film will not come in OTT before 10 weeks. This deal is with me and by the grace of God, I do not have the pressure to release. My only intention is to perform the best for the audience,” Vishnu was the word of Manchu.
What is Kannappa?
Kannappa has a young hunter, who is an atheist, is the story of Thinnadu. However, on a terrible day, the man detects a Shiva Lingam in the forest, which offers the idol.
The film focuses on how a man becomes the greatest devotee of Lord Shiva with Hindu mythology. Kannappa’s legend is based on the texts of mythology, in which man is in the context of being a saint.
Kannappa Cast and Star-Staded Cameo
Kannappa made Mohan Babu, R Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Brahmanandam, Brahmaji, Shiva Balaji, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devraj, Mukesh Rishi, Ragu Babundah, Pranu, Prayu, Price Muk, Printer, Prince, Pranu, Prince, Princeu, Prince, Prince, Prince, Price Muk, and Vishnava stage Presented
The fantasy action film also features cameo shows by stars like Prabhas, Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal. The rebellious star is ready to play the role of Rudra, a rigvedic deity, and a skimtime of about 45 minutes.
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal will play the roles of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati respectively. Additionally, Mohanlal is ready to appear as a tribal warrior, Kirta.
The upcoming film is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, which is based on a story and screenplay written by Vishnu Manchu himself. Musical tracks and scores are prepared by Stephen Dewaisi.
In addition, Kannappa’s cinematography is handled under the expertise of Sheldon Chow, editing 2.0 fame Anthony.
