During the years of his college, Appu is trapped in a fight, but is saved by Suchitra. This horrific encounter provoked a romance between them, which shapes the rest of the film’s stories.
The music of the film was composed by Gurukiran, in which K. Cinematography and S. Was edited by Manohar. Originally released on April 24, 2002, Appu was a major success and was later remade in Telugu, Tamil and Bengali.
