Actress-politician Kangana Ranaut recently attended the trailer launch event of her film ‘Emergency’, where she thanked her cast mates for standing by her.
Actress-politician Kangana Ranaut on Wednesday attended the trailer launch event of her upcoming film Emergency in Mumbai, where she expressed her gratitude towards the cast of the film and thanked them for ‘standing with her’.
Kangana said that it hasn’t been easy to do a film with her or get praises for her, but her cast did just that, “This is a very emotional day for me. I am barely able to write a sentence today. It has been a long journey. I would like to thank many people, special thanks to writer Vijayendra Prasad garu. He has been a guide. We have faced many hurdles. Special thanks to my cast too, because everyone knows I have been boycotted by the industry. It hasn’t been easy to stand with me, do my film and of course praise me. But, they have done it all.”

Kangana said, “I thank Anupam (Kher) ji for always being there for me. Most of all my producers. They have always been my strength. I also want to thank my brother, he has been holding the fort for me ever since I took up responsibility for my country. I am missing Satish Kaushik ji today. He completed the dubbing, talked to me about the film and gave me a lot of strength. We will observe a moment of silence in his honour.”
Ahead of the trailer launch event, Kangana had shared an Instagram post to mark the day. “From conceptualising the idea, to seeing the film on the big screen, there is nothing more gratifying than being a filmmaker. Today is a very special day. At the trailer launch of my directorial venture Emergency, the journey of Emergency begins from me to you. I couldn’t be happier. A piece of me will live on in the world even after I’m gone,” read a part of the post.
‘Emergency’, starring Milind Soman, Anupam Kher and others, will release on September 6.
