Kangana Ranaut calls Bollywood celebrities ‘fools’: They can’t talk beyond branded bags
Actress Kangana Ranaut has once again taken a dig at Bollywood celebrities, calling them ‘stupid and foolish’ and comparing them to locusts.

Bollywood actor and politician Kangana Ranaut has once again taken a dig at Bollywood celebrities and their lifestyle. Saying that she can never be friends with any Bollywood celebrity, the actress said that they cannot talk beyond branded bags and cars. Kangana also described her experience of attending Bollywood parties as “traumatising” during a recent interview.
Recently, on Raj Shamani’s podcast, Kangana said, “I am not a Bollywood person. I cannot be friends with people from Bollywood.” She further added, “They are lost in their own world. They are stupid, foolish and keep thinking about protein shakes. I have seen a lot of people from Bollywood, so I know this.”
Kangana, 38, also criticised the routine and conversations of many people in the film industry, dubbing them “grasshoppers” who lack depth and meaningful conversations. Describing the usual routine of some Bollywood celebrities, Kangana said, “If they are not shooting, their routine is as follows: wake up in the morning, do some physical training, sleep in the afternoon, wake up, go to the gym and sleep again at night or watch TV. They are like grasshoppers, absolutely idle. How can you be friends with such people?”
She further added, “They have no idea what is happening where. There is no (meaningful) conversation between them. They just meet, have a drink and say, ‘Hey babe, what a bag! Oh my god, I love that bag.’ I would be shocked if I find a nice person in Bollywood who can talk about things beyond branded bags and cars.”
Kangana is waiting for the release of her film. emergencyelaborated on her feelings about Bollywood parties, calling them “traumatising”.
She said, “The conversations that happen at Bollywood parties are embarrassing.” The actress further mimicked a voice that represents celebrities who discuss their schedules, body weight, diets and dating rumours at parties. Kangana added, “It’s traumatic… Bollywood parties are traumatic for me.”
