Kamal Haasan’s thug life trailer, audio launch dates out, AR Rahman to perform
The audio launch of Kamal Haasan’s ‘Thug Life’, which was to be held on 16 May, has now been postponed. The manufacturers announced the new date with new information about AR Rahman’s performance.

Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s ‘thugs life’ pre-resulting publicity is fully prepared to begin. On Wednesday, the manufacturers announced the dates of trailer launch and audio launch. AR Rahman, who composed music for Mani Ratnam-director, will perform with his team in the event. ‘Thug Life’ will be released in theaters on 5 June.
Earlier, the audio launch was scheduled to take place on 16 May in Chennai. Due to Indo-Pak conflicts, the manufacturers decided to postpone. According to the latest update, the audio launch will be held on May 24 at Syram Engineering College, Chennai.
Apart from AR Rahman and the team, more performance is expected.
Next to the audio launch, the trailer will be unveiled at 5 pm on May 17. It should be seen whether manufacturers organize a separate program for trailer launch.
The team’s statement said, “In recent times, we stopped our ceremonies to stand in solidarity with the nation. We are deeply grateful to our audience support, patience and understanding around the world. With fresh clarity and respect for this time, we now resume the thugs life journey.”
‘Thug Life’ marked the reunion of Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan three decades after his prestigious, ‘Nayakan’. The latest film includes a contingent of artists including Silambarson, Trisha Krishnan, Jujo George, Abhirami, Sanya Malhotra, Ali Fazal, Rohit Saraf and Nasir.
Jointly produced by Raj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies and Red Giant films, ‘Thug Life’ has been seen as an action gangster drama. Chandran and editor of cinematographer Ravi and Srikar Prasad are part of the technical team.
