Kamal Haasan spoke about the stupendous success of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ when it crossed the Rs 1,000 crore mark at the worldwide box office. He said it is a moment to celebrate.

Kamal Haasan celebrated the phenomenal success of ‘Kalki 2898 E.D.’ with a special video message. The Nag Ashwin-directed film has crossed the Rs 1,000 crore mark worldwide and is still going strong at the box office. He claimed that it is a moment to celebrate. He also hinted at more screentime in the second part of ‘Kalki 2898 E.D.’
In a video message, Kamal Haasan said that the box office collections are increasing and the film has crossed the Rs 1,000 crore mark. Kamal Haasan said, “I have worked in more than 250 films, but very few films achieve this milestone. This is a moment to celebrate.”
He also revealed how Nag Ashwin and the team of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ went to Los Angeles to perfect the look of Supreme Yaskin, who appears only for a few minutes in the first part. He said, “You will see me more in the second part. I am not going to talk about it right now.”
Kamal Haasan also revealed that Nag Ashwin’s enthusiasm is similar to that of veteran director Singeetam Srinivasa Rao.

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is a sci-fi action adventure written and directed by Nag Ashwin. The mega-budget film is a mix of science fiction and Indian mythology. Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan are in the lead roles, while Shobana, Pasupathy, Saswata Chatterjee, Anna Ben, Disha Patani and Brahmanandam are in supporting roles.
‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies on a huge budget of Rs 600 crore.
