Kamal Haasan relives old memories with Ramesh Sippy
On June 26, Ulaganayagan took to the social media platform Instagram and shared photos of his meeting with Ramesh Sippy, his wife Kiran Joneja and his Indian 2 co-star Siddharth.
Kamal Haasan wrote, “Had a surprise visit to the Sippy family. Thanks to Siddharth @worldofsiddharth for spotting them. Juhu sea is not a good place to swim. Instead we swam in Shri Ramesh Sippy’s “Sagar @rameshsippy47 @kiranjoneja”. We promised each other we will swim together again in our old memories. Grateful for such happy experiences.”
As soon as the post went online, Ulaganayagan fans expressed their happiness in the comments section. One user wrote, “Kamal Haasan sir respect button.” Another wrote, “What a great picture of two legends of Indian cinema!! You both should shake hands.”
Released in the year 1985, the movie Saagar featured Kamal Haasan, Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia in the lead roles and received a lot of praise and appreciation from movie lovers and critics.

This political thriller film is being produced by Lyca Productions and directed by Subaskaran Allirajah and directed by Shankar Shanmugam. It will be released in theaters on July 12, 2024 in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
