Prabhas and Nag Ashwin’s film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has completed 25 days in theatres. A legal notice has been issued to the makers of the film for hurting Hindu sentiments.

Prabhas and director Nag Ashwin’s film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has landed in trouble as the makers and actors have been sent legal notices. Former Congress leader Acharya Pramod said that the film has allegedly hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus. According to a report ANI The report says that this film is against the scriptures. They have also sent a notice to the producers Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas.
Acharya Pramod said, “India is a land of emotions, faith and devotion. The values of Sanatan Dharma should not be tampered with. The scriptures of Sanatan should not be changed. Lord Kalki Narayan is at the centre of our faith. He is considered to be the last incarnation of Lord Vishnu.”
He said, “A lot has been written about the Kalki avatar in the Puranas and on this basis, PM Modi laid the foundation stone of Shri Kalki Dham on February 19.”
He further said, “This film is against what is mentioned in our scriptures. This film is hurting our religious sentiments. So we have lodged some objections and are waiting for the response. Playing with the sentiments of Hindus has become a pastime of filmmakers. Saints have been portrayed as demons. Freedom of expression does not mean that you play with our faith.”
The legal notice to Acharya Pramod has been sent by Ujjwal Anand Sharma, Advocate of the Supreme Court of India.
